At a foundational level my Leadership competency has come from my experiences as a student and from working in higher education. Leadership development is a big passion of mine so I seek out opportunities to enhance my leadership skills. In my work at Medaille College’s TRiO SSS, I facilitate discussions with students on leadership styles and developing leadership skills. I have presented at various conferences on the topic of everday leadership. As an office assistant at Medaille TRiO SSS, I have hosted a variety of workshops on StrengthsQuest and leadership. I also work  individually with students to embrace and utilize their strengths to be successful in college. Finaly, I collaborate with other staff in the program to ensure that our objectives for our students are being met.
